How to play
This page is written for guests, players with an account, students, teachers, so it isn't in the guide you're viewing. It's fine to read on.
Habitat Hero is a puzzle game. You answer riddles from your school subjects, and every riddle you solve earns a reward. If you play the ecosystem game, the reward is a species for your habitat.
Your first game
Section titled “Your first game”- Pick your grade. This is your school year, for example Year 1. You can change it later in Settings.
- Pick a game. Choose the ecosystem game, or Just practice to answer riddles on their own.
- Pick a subject, such as Maths or Science.
- Pick a difficulty: Easy, Medium or Hard.
- Read the riddle and tap the answer you think is right.
If you get it wrong
Section titled “If you get it wrong”You get three tries at each riddle.
- After a wrong answer you get a hint 💡 and can try again.
- Each new hint helps a little more.
- After three wrong answers, the game shows you the right one, so you always learn the answer.
Getting it right on the first try is what earns a species and counts toward your badges. Getting it right after a hint still counts as learning, and the game tells you so.
What you earn
Section titled “What you earn”In the ecosystem game, each riddle solved first time earns species. Harder riddles earn more:
