Getting started as a teacher

1. Create a teacher account. In the game, tap Sign in → Create an account, choose I’m a teacher, and enter the teacher access code you were given, your email and the name your students will see. Confirm that, before you add any child, you’ll have permission from their school or their parent or carer. See Create an account.

2. Open the teacher dashboard. In the game, open ☰ → 🍎 Teacher dashboard, or go to /teacher/. Sign in with the same email and password.

   Teachers who signed up with a username before October 2026 see a box asking for an email. Add one, and from then on sign in with it.

3. Create a class. Go to Classes, give it a name and, if you like, a year group. See Classes.

4. Add your students and print their login cards. Open the class, paste their first names, pick a picture for each, and print the cards. See Students and login cards.

5. Hand out the cards. Each child scans their card in the game and taps their three pictures. See Signing in with your card.

6. See how they’re doing on Home and Performance. See Progress and performance.

Until someone has played, Home shows these steps with your progress through them.
